The Bar Mill and Mobile Shop program was started in November 2003. The program consisted of the following:

In all, over 350 analyses were performed on approximately 200 soil and water samples. Preliminary data indicate that some metals and PAH are present in fill materials, and isolated areas of petroleum impact are present where fuel or lubricants were used for long periods. These types of impacts are typical of industrial operations dating from the mid-20th Century.

Phase 3 testing was completed in the summer of 2004. The report was received in January 2005.
